Brad Shaw

Brad had his first full time year of Road Racing in 2009. He won both the 2009 Troy Corser Agencies Victorian Metrakit Series 80cc and the 2009 Victorian Junior Road Race Titles 13- U16yrs during this first year.

In 2010, Junior Road Racer, Brad Shaw took a big step towards realising his dream of becoming a MotoGP rider. Brad was accepted to ride in the Aprilia Superteens Championship in the UK for 2010 following in the footsteps of fellow Australians Casey Stoner (2000-2002) and Matthew Davies (2009).  Brad was only the third Aussie to compete in the series and he was the first Victorian.

Aprilia Superteens - Is the best youth championship in the world. Utilising near standard Aprilia RS125 Euro 2 specification machines to a very closely controlled formula, it attracts young riders from all over the world.

Brad had an amazing nine round journey during the UK Aprilia Superteens Championship series and made a mark on the Nitro Newcomers Championship points.

2011 sees Brad predominately staying in Australia to concentrate on his studies. He has been sponsored to compete on the newly developed Aprilia RRV 450 at Thundersport GB and has chosen to race at Anglesey in Wales and Cadwell in England during May.

Aprilia RRV 450 Challenge - Is a GP type class for Aprilia twin cylinder machines which began life as Supermotard bikes. GP style bodywork and suspension makes these beautiful little machines perform to an incredibly high standard (all as supplied by IN Competition ).
